Danika's 1st Christmas!!!!! Christmas Eve was the first day we saw Danika attempt to let go of a box she was holding onto and attempt to take a step all by herself!!!!! :) Danny got a ping pong table from Santa Clause and Danika insisted on sitting on top of it and opening her presents on it! Santa got her a couple toys and a stocking full of lots of goodies! :) Danny was really, really, really sick on Christmas, so after we opened gifts and ate breakfast, he went back to sleep for the entire day!!!

 First time she decided the tree should be on the floor with her. The branch managed to scratch her face as it was falling.....she didn't pull the tree down again!

 Happy birthday Danny! Danika and I made you a special birthday dinner! Potatoe crusted salmon, mashed potatoes and asparagus! Mmmmmm

 She must miss her bathtub! She crawls in it a lot! She is now to big for it so she takes baths in mommy and daddy's tub with bubbles and lots of toys! :)

 

 Danika has learned to crawl up the stairs! We kept meaning to get around to buying a baby gate. Jason came over with a baby gate that his parents got us!!!! Hooray!!!! Thank you Jason's awesome parents!!! Danny and Jason are setting it up with a little help from Danika! She always has to be in the action!

 We really wanted a "real" Christmas tree in the house! Grand-dad came with us to pick one out! Danika wasn't all that interested in picking out a tree but she liked pulling on the branches and trying to put them in her mouth!

 

 Tada!!!! Tree all finished! I think we have a total of 3 Christmas trees in the house now!
