~Summer Vacation~
We took the kiddos to see Despicable Me 2! Then we went next door to Pixy Cakes and got some cupcakes! Danika actually sat for the entire movie except for the last 15 minutes of it. She started to get a little antsy.

Butterfly Wonderland
Butterfly Wonderland was a cool place to take the kids. It started with a 3D movie of the life of a butterfly, then you walk into a room where you can see the different stages of a caterpillar turning into a butterfly. Next you walk into the huge butterfly conservatory that has butterflies flying everywhere! In the middle of the atrium is a little waterfall with fish. Next you walk into another room where there is a beehive and you can try to find the queen bee that has a green dot on her back. There is a section where you can see an ant colony and you can shine a purple light at scorpions and see them glow. The next room is the amazon rivers where you can look at the fish and touch the sting rays! :)

Splash Pad
Danika wasn't a fan of the splash pad at all! She loves swimming in the pool, but I don't think she's a fan of getting splashed in the face! She kept trying to run for the playground!

Mormon Lake
We drove up to Mormon lake hoping to see a lake and when we got there, it wasn't even a lake anymore! :-( It was almost nothing! So we let D play in the woods since we were up in Payson and it was really nice outside. We stopped to have lunch at a little place that also had a little sand volleyball and horseshoes that you could play. It started raining for a little bit, so Danika played it it for a little bit!

Wildlife World Zoo
We got to do a few things during this zoo trip that we didn't get to do the last time we were at the zoo! Danika loves birds, so we took her to feed them, and we got to feed the giraffe's :)

| Since we weren't able to go camping (which was the original plan), we set up the tent in the back yard and we got stuff to barbecue and to make smores with......it was way to humid and hot to sleep in the tent! lol Nobody ended up camping outside that night..... |
