Waterman Family: May 2014

I love starting new traditions! This was the first year that we dyed Easter eggs with Danika! You can't tell from the pics but it ended up being a big mess!!! But it was worth it because she loved it! The Easter Bunny came over later that night to see Danika. She was SOOOO excited! It always puts a big smile on my face to see her face light up like that. Last year I couldn't even get her to sit on his lap without crying. This year I couldn't get her to let the Easter Bunny go home! Danika had the Easter Bunny playing ring~around~the ~rosies with her and she cried when he had to go home. :-( The next morning was Easter Sunday and the Easter Bunny left her an Easter Basket and Daddy did the Resurrection eggs with her. Then it was off to church where she saw the Easter Bunny again and all she wanted to do was follow him! She didn't want to go to class!!! She did an Easter egg hunt with her Sunday school class.

Later that evening we went to Grandma Gurule's for an Easter dinner. I actually made scalloped potatoes and I hate cooking! Craig, Danny and Matthew hid Easter eggs for the kiddos! Grandpa Gurule told the Resurrection story to the kids with Easter eggs. It was an awesome Easter with friends and family! XOXO
